Energy portraits are reflections of people’s inner energies. These portraits are not meant to capture physical likeness but to convey the energetic essence of my subjects in an entirely free and unrestricted abstract form. I serve as a conduit, allowing creative energy to manifest in visible space through the medium of pen and paper.
In this creative process, I immerse myself in a state of flow, where my intuition guides every stroke. The shapes and lines that emerge are not bound by traditional forms; they represent the unique vibrational frequencies of each individual. Each portrait becomes a journey for me, an exploration of the unseen dimensions of personality and spirit.
Energy portraits are meant to be experienced on a deeper level. To help you understand my graphic works, I’ve created a guide on how to interpret the elements of my art.
Colors: I use only black and white. One is the form, and the other is the space. In most of my pieces, black represents the form, and white is the infinite space around it.
The Canvas: The sheet of paper acts as a window, showing a portion of the infinite space where these forms exist.
The Alphabet of Composition: My compositions are built from points, lines, and planes. The point is always the letter “A” in this alphabet.
Relative Perception: The size of the point is always relative to the surrounding space and should be interpreted in its context.
Symbolism:
1. Whole, Dynamic Energy: This indicates healthy, strong energy in harmony with the universe, extending beyond the canvas.
2. Unique, Personal Energy: Vibrant, individual energy that reflects the beauty and uniqueness of life.
3. Linear, Dynamic Energy with Twists: Represents personal character, with a clear beginning and end, and may provide insights or suggestions for improvement.
4. Energy in the Shape of an Eight: Suggests attempts to harmonize and evolve, often containing hints for growth.
5. Tangled, Oval Energy Forms: Symbolizes conflict, destruction, or illness.
6. Whole, Closed Energy Forms: Energy directed inward, focused on self-reflection. May also contain suggestions or guidance.
